  • For this assessment croterion, you will be required to demonstrate that you are able to support children’s early interest and development in mark-making, writing, reading and being and being read to
  • This can help them to develop their emergent literacy skills and help to prepare them for school
  • There are several ways that you could achieve this including:
    • Offering to read to children and asking them if they recognise any words
