• For this assessment criterion, you will be required to demonstrate to your assesor that you are able to work in ways that value and respect the developmental needs and stages of babies and children
• Some of the ways that this may be achieved include:
  • Planning activities that support a child’s next stage of development
  • Adapting an activity to ensure that SEND children are able to participate
  • Providing praise and reassurance to children when they are learning new skills
