- Responsibilities of direct payments recipients
- Direct payments must be used to meet the needs specified in the assessment/care plan
- Inform local authority of any changes to circumstances that may require reassessment
- Have employment responsibilities for any individuals they employ (including health and safety responsibilities)
- Inform the local authority of any difficulties with obtaining care
- Responsibilities of commisioners
- Share assessment and care plan with care provider
- Support the recipient of direct payments to procur the services they need
- Responsibilities of social workers/care managers
- Provide care and support services in line with the assessment and care plan
- Regularly review the care plan in partnership with other stakeholders
