• Good communication can make everyone feel valued and included, ensure that everyone is clear about their roles and responsibilities and enhance partnership working
• Good communication builds trust and respect between individuals
• Poor communication can result in people feeling that they cannot contribute and lead to their withdrawal from the group
• Poor communication can decrease productivity and lead to individuals not understanding what is expected from them
