  • For this assessment criterion, you will be required to reflect on the outcomes of the observations that you made in the previous section
  • After completing an observation, you would usually assess/evaluate to obtain new insights and then use this information to inform your planning
  • E.g. when assessing an individual child, you may identify that a child enjoys pouring water in and out of different sized containers
  • E.g. when assessing a group of children, you may identify that one particular child is not considered a friend by their peers
  • E.g. when assessing indoor provision, you may identify that there is not enough space around the mark-making table or not enough resources for all the children that wanted to participate in the activity
  • E.g. when assessing outdoor provision, you may identify that the children never play with the bats and balls that are provided
