• By recognising the signs and symptoms of illness in children (including the signs/symptoms of common illnesses), we can ensure that they are looked after and recieve any medical attention they need
• Signs and symptoms of illness in a child include:
  • Fever/higher temperature
  • Rashes
  • Pain (e.g. head ache, sore throat, achey muscles etc.)
  • Coughing/sneezing
  • Changes in behaviour
  • Shadows under eyes
  • Tiredness/lethargy
  • Pale skin
  • Being clingy
  • Changes to appetite
  • Bedwetting
