• The media can be cruel and individual’s online could promote ideas that mental health does not exist and that an individual is weak if they are mentally struggling.
• Sometimes the media can promote a positive light upon mental health and encourage children to speak up about their own problems and encourage them to seek professional help.
• Children may see their favourite influencers or children their age online being diagnosed with mental health disorders and could begin to believe they have a mental disorder they do not actually have.
