• Support plans are created and must be regularly updated so specialists are able to communicate with each other to best support and protect the individual.
• A protocol should be made aware of between all the staff so they know what they do and do not need to do.
• All staff should have specialist training and know what they are doing when working with an individual who presents behaviour that challenges.
