  • Short term = The behaviour may be difficult to deal with in the moment for both the individual and others and can cause harm if the individual is unable to calm down and others are unable to control the situation. It can lead both the individuals and others feeling angry and upset.
  • Long term = Looking after an individual with behaviour that challenges can be exhausting and can lead others to develop mental disorders and struggle mentally and physically.
