• Mental disabilities can cause individuals to behave in certain ways such as individuals struggling with depression may withdraw themselves from society and struggle with poor hygiene.
• Learning disabilities often cause challenging behaviour due to their lack of understanding and communication they hold. They may need help with things such as going out on their own or going to the toilet. They may also not understand the extent of their actions which may cause harm to others.
