• Behaviour that challenges = This means a set of behaviours that can cause harm to the individual themselves or others around the individual such as hitting and kicking themselves or others, biting, spitting, stealing and lack of care for personal belongings.
• Positive behaviour = A set of behaviours that are acceptable and deemed as ‘good’ within society. Such behaviours could be helping others, treating others with kindness, being co-operative and being understanding and empathetic.
