  • ensuring they have a clear understanding of their responsibilities and accountabilities
  • ensuring they understand health and safety policies and procedures including evacuation routes and storage of hazardous materials
  • ensure they know who to go to if they have any questions or concerns
  • ensuring they have credentials such as computer system logins and and identification badges
