For this assessment criterion, you will be required to demonstrate that you are able to plan an environment which supports children’s socialisation and group learning
The children’s age and stage of development must be taken into account (e.g. cooperative play activities would only be suitable for older children)
The children’s interests should also be taken into account
There must be sufficient resources available to ensure all children can be included in the play activity
Set areas for particular activities (e.g. mealtimes, blockbuilding etc.) can support a child’s understanding of what behaviours are expected
