- There are several professional roles that will be involved in partnership working to support children. Some of these include:
- Early Years Practitioner – look after the health, education and welfare of children up to the age of 5 in an early years setting
- SENCO – responsible for coordinating the support of children with additional needs
- Health Visitor – work with families to promote the health and wellbeing of children up to the age of 5
- Speech and Language Therapist – supports children with communication difficulties and promotes the development communication, speech and language
- Early Years Manager – oversees and manges an early years setting
- GP – treats and promotes the prevention of diseases and health conditions
- These are just a few examples – try to think of the different professionals that you work in partnership with in your own setting
