Assessment criteria: 1.3.4 Identify how you could evaluate and review the effectiveness of team performance and how to address challenges that may arise
- Team performance can be evaluated and reviewed by:
- Establishing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are quantitative metrics that can be used to establish if targets are being met
- Requesting feedback from others, including team members, clients and their families
- Team discussion relating to progress towards objectives
- If challenges arise, leaders must identify the reasons why and address them – this is often best achieved via team discussion
