• Look at your own role and responsibilities in relation to safeguarding
• At a minimum, your are responsible for reporting any suspicions or disclosures of abuse that your are aware of
• You must also ensure that policies and procedures are followed and whistleblow if you do not believe that this is happening or concerns are being taken seriously
• You may also be responsible for investigating concerns about abuse or neglect within your organisation and reporting to and sharing information with other agencies
