  • Learning needs – what is require to perform job role competently and confidently
  • Professional interests – areas of working practice that you are particular interested in learning more about
  • Development opportunities – currently available learning and development choices (e.g. if your organisation requires more people to be trained in first aid or your local authority is providing free training as part of a wider initiative)
  • Choosing, prioritising and reviewing personal development goals should be perfomed collaboratively with your manager
