  • Feedback can be obtained by your manager informally or during supervision/appraisal
  • Also, ask for feedback from your co-workers, service users, their families and other professionals
  • Feedback should be constructive and help you to improve your practice – try not to take criticism personally
  • As with comparing your perfomance to relevant standards, obtaining feedback can be used to identify areas of your practice that you could improve
