  • Hand hygiene – the NHS provides guidlines for best hand-washing technique
  • Moving and handling equipment and other objects safely– refer to your training and the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) for best practices (e.g. bending legs instead instead of back when lifting etc.)
  • Checking the identity of anyone requesting access to the work setting – follow your employer’s agreed ways of working for site security
  • Maintaining evacuation routes – evacuation routes should be clear and clutter free (see HSE for further info)
