  • Under Regulation 6, a nominated person:
    • Is of good character.
    • Is able to properly perform tasks that are intrinsic to their role.
    • Has the necessary qualifications, competence, skills and experience to supervise the management of the regulated activity.
    • Has supplied them with documents that confirm their suitability.
  • The nominated individual is different from the registered manager because they will not be involved in the day-to-day operations of the organisation. They also have the responsibility of holding the management to account.
