Unit 3: Governance in Adult Care

This unit is part of the Level 4 Certificate in Principles of Leadership and Management for Adult Care (RQF) and has the following learning outcomes and assessment criteria:

1. 1 Understand the legislative and policy context of adult care provision

   2. 1.2 Evaluate the impact of legislation, policy and key drivers on service provision

2. 2 Understand internal governance arrangements within adult care organisations
   1. 2.1 Explain how governance structures relate to a services identity as a statutory, private, voluntary or independent organisation
   2. 2.2 Analyse how agreed ways of working, such as protocols, policies and procedures, relate to governance and accountability
