    • Having access to accurate information such as the hours that an individual needs support for and how many staff members are required to carry out tasks
    • Taking into account times when staff will be unavailable to work on shift such as when they are on annual leave, undertaking training or participating in meetings
    • Having a mix of skill sets in teams
    • Having contingency plans in place relating to staffing
    • Using agency staff where required
