  • Carer-Client: Professional relationship between paid carers and their service users. Carer is privy to personal information about the client and it must be kept confidential. Carer provides a service.
  • Co-workers: Relationship between team of professional carers. Teamworking and good communication required. Also includes relationships with managers and other colleagues.
  • Other professionals: Relationship between staff and external professionals, such as nurses, social workers, psychologists etc.
