• You should familiarise yourself and follow these procedures at all times
• Identity checking people accessing the work setting may involve:
  • Asking to see an ID badge
  • Ensuring the ID badge is authentic and the photograph is a real likeness
  • Calling their employer if in doubt
  • Asking who they are here to see and why
  • Asking for guidance from your manager if unsure
• Identity checking people that request access to information could involve the above as well as:
  • Calling the individual back on a phone number that you know belongs to their organisation
