Unit 386 Coordination of activity provision in adult care

This unit is one of the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care Optional Units and has the following learning outcomes and assessment criteria:

1. 1 Understand the process of activity coordination
   1. 1.1 Explain the importance of aims and objectives when coordinating activity provision
   2. 1.2 Produce a plan for coordinated activity provision in a given setting
   3. 1.3 Describe reporting requirements for activity coordination
2. 2 Know how to involve individuals and others in activity provision
   1. 2.1 Explain the challenges that might be experienced in engaging in activity provision by: 2.1 A individuals 2.1 B others
   2. 2.2 Describe ways in which individuals and others can be supported to contribute to activity provision
   3. 2.3 Analyse the benefits of involving others in activity provision
3. 3 Be able to budget for activity provision
   1. 3.1 Produce a budget for an activity provision in a given setting
   2. 3.2 Demonstrate delivery of the activity within the budget
4. 4 Be able to select venues / environments for activities
   1. 4.1 Assess the suitability of different venues / environments for a range of activities in terms of: 4.1 A type of activity 4.1 B client group and size 4.1 C cost 4.1 D risks
5. 5 Understand how to monitor and evaluate activity provision
   1. 5.1 Explain the purpose of monitoring and evaluating activity provision
   2. 5.2 Compare different methods of monitoring and evaluating activity provision
   3. 5.3 Carry out an evaluation of coordinated activity provision
   4. 5.4 Record and report on outcomes and any revisions in line with agreed ways of working
