- 3 Understand common mental ill health issues and the risks of diagnostic overshadowing
- 4 Be able to promote healthy lifestyles and well-being for individuals with a learning disability
and or autism
- 4.1 Describe ways to promote well-being through healthy lifestyles
- 4.2 Explain the principles of a healthy diet to an individual with communication differences
- 4.3 Support an individual with communication differences to make informed choices about their lifestyle
- 4.4 Outline how to encourage individuals to follow a healthy lifestyle
- 5 Be able to recognise and advise others on how individuals may express pain
- 6 Understand the risk of over-medication for individuals with a learning disability and/or autism
