• Your organisation may provide opportunities to specialise in curriculum subjects for which you have a personal interest (e.g. maths, literacy etc.)
• Even if opportunities within your organisation do not exist, you should still try to maintain subject knowledge in areas of personal interest for your own motivation, career progression and development
• You could do this by signing up to newletters or magazines, joining progessional networks and performing your own research
