  • Following the observation of a child, a practitioner will have an idea of their current stage of development and the support they need to reach the next stage of development in line with the EYFS framework
  • The practitioner will then need to devise a plan to support the child to develop further
  • E.g. for a child that currently eats using their fingers, the practitioner may introduce cutlery for them use at mealtimes
