• Information that can be useful to an Early Years Practitioner in relation to planning to meet the needs of children can include:
  • The child’slikes, dislikes and interests
  • The child’s current age and stage of development
  • Any Special Educational Needs and DIsabilities that the child has
  • Information about the child’s home life (e.g. routines, significant events, cultural preferences etc.)
  • The preferences of the child’s parents/carers
  • The child’s dietary requirements and other medical or health-related information
