- Learning about different cultures by going on visits or inviting visitors of different cultures to the setting
- Planning activities that celebrate different cultures

- Going on walks around the local area
- Scavenger hunts or collecting items (e.g. stones, leaves etc.) – these could also be used as part of an arts/crafts project
- The use of tablets, phones etc. as part of learning and development
- Electronic ‘light-up’ or noisy toys
