- Working collaboratively can involve working in partnership with:
- Colleagues – teamwork is essential in all aspects of early years practice and practitioners should work together to plan activities, allocate roles and responsibilities and set up the environment
- Parents – information about a child should be exchanged between practitioners and parents relating to a child’s preferences and interests with regards to play
- Other professionals – collaboration with other professionals can enhance play opportunities. This could be part of a specialised training workshop or guidance from a health professional about how play activities may have to be adapted to meet the needs of a child with SEND
