• Following a planned play opportunity, practitioners should evaluate how it has met the learning and developmental needs of children
• Some considerations when evaluating a planned play opportunity include:
  • The child’s movement and dexterity
  • If the child was engaged/motivated/eager to participate or not
  • How easily the child picked up new skills
  • The child’s use of language during the activity
  • The child’s expression of ideas during the activity
