• It is essential that you maintain detailed records of your longitudinal study, including observations, assessments and planning
• It will be useful if you plan how you going to record this information from the outset – your setting should have forms or templates that you can use
• You should follow your organisation’s policies and procedures for record-keeping and maintain confidentiality at all times – this will include anonymising the name f the child used in your study
