• It is recommended that the unit on equality, diversity and inclusive practice should be revisited
• Section 3.68of the EYFS states that: “Providers must have arrangements in place to support children with SEN or disabilities“
• Children with additional needs may need more time with adults – this will require appropriate assessments and applications to obtain funding from the local authority
• Similarly, practitioners may need additional training to support children with a dditional needs effectively
• Think about how your own setting accommodates children with additional needs
