Self-reflection is an important part of a practitioners personal development and so all practitioners should take time to reflect their own role in relation to the promotion of personal, social and emotional development for children
E.g. following reflection, you may realise that when you finish an activity you do not provide children with the opportunity to help tidy up, which could help to develop their independence and confidence. So, you resolve to make tidying away more collaborative going forward.
