• For this assessment criterion, you will be required to plan an opportunity which promotes the physical development of children from a varitey of age ranges
• Some ideas that you may wish to consider are provided below:
  • 0-1 year 11 months – using a spoon, heuristic play, baby gym, knocking down towers etc.
  • 2-2 years 11 months – drawing, building blocks, kicking a ball etc.
  • 3-5 years – colouring, cutting with scissors, jigsaws etc.
• It is important to identify the the skill that you want to develop from the outset
• Ensure that you have the resources you will need
• Ensure all practitioners understand the objective of opportunity
