- For this assessment criterion, you will be requierd to critically evaluate your own setting’s provision for developing speech, language and communication
- You should look at the strengths and weaknesses within your setting and, using the knowledge that you have leaned in this unit, make recommendations about how speech, language and communication development could be improved
- For example, you may feel that the baby room requires some additional sound-proofing because it is next door to the noisier toddler and this distracts the babies
- Or, you may feel that there is not a sufficient variety of age-appropriate books for the pre-school children
