  • Your organisation should have policies and procedures which relate to partnership working. You should be familiar with these.
  • Policies and procedures should be developed with key partners to ensure that all parties are aware of their roles and responsibilities
  • Protocols for the sharing of information must also be drawn up to ensure that all parties have access to the data that they need to perform their function, whilst protecting as much as possible the confidentiality of children and families
  • There should be procedures relating to when and who reports concerns to other agencies, such as Ofsted, HSE or the local authority
  • Policies that may refer to partnership working can include the Safeguarding Policy, Health and Safety Policy, SEND Policy etc.
