  • Self-reflection is an important part of a practitioner’s learners and development
  • Thinking about our actions and decisions, including what we did well and what requires improvement, allows us to gain experience and become better practitioners
  • Think about your own attitude to risk – do you feel that you take a balanced approach to risk-taking? Have you ever overlooked a potential risk, resulting in a child being hurt? Or, are you a little too risk-averse and don’t give children enough opportunities to explore? Be critical and honest with yourself and ask how you could improve.
