- Child’s rights when harm/abuse is suspected:
- be protected from harm/abuse
- not be subjected to repeat questioning/examination
- to be kept fully informed and involved in decisions that are made about them
- Parents rights when harm/abuse is suspected:
- For allegations, parents/carers have the right to know what is being said and contribute their own thoughts and feelings
- If child is suffering significant harm then parents/carers will have no rights
