• All adults that work with children have a statutory duty of care to protect and safeguard children and ensure that their welfare comes first
• All settings must have safeguarding policies and procedures that are accessible to all staff
• All staff must be familiar with their organisation’s safeguarding policies and procedures
• Any concerns or suspicions of abuse must be reported in line organisational policies and procedures
• If you have a concern or suspicion, you must report it to your manager/safeguarding lead
