  • Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) – the unexpected and unexplained death of a seemingly healthy baby during the first 6 months of their life
  • Precautions:
    • Ensure baby sleeps on their back
    • Baby’s feet should touch the end of the cot/moses basket etc. (feet-to-foot position)
    • Baby’s head should be uncovered
