• Wet hands with water
• Apply soap to hands
• Rub hands together to create lather
• Rub the back of one hand with the palm of the other, interlacing fingers, then vice versa
• Rub the back of the fingers of one hand against the palm of the other and vice versa
• Rub the thumbs
• Rub the fingertips of one hand against the palm of the other and vice versa
• RInse hands with water
• Dry hands with a disposable towel
• Turn tap off with towel and dispose
