• The safeguarding policy and procedure describes what to do if a worker observes or suspects harm, abuse or neglect
• Organisations must perform risk assessments to identify any risks of harm, abuse and neglect and minimise them as much as possible
• Organisations must ensure that workers have received sufficient induction and training around safeguarding
