This unit is part of the Level 1 Diploma in Introduction to Health and Social Care and has the following learning outcomes and assessment criteria:

   6. 1.6. Give examples of the indicators of harm, abuse and neglect
   7. 1.7. Identify what actions should be taken if there are concerns about harm, abuse and neglect
   8. 1.8. Describe the boundaries of confidentiality and when to share information
   9. 1.9. Identify sources of support and information in relation to safeguarding
